Family Outings

At C.H.O.I.R. Stars we understand that a chronic health condition affects the entire family. It can be challenging for a teen or young adult to see their sibling deal with, at times, debilitating health conditions. We offer our camp sessions for siblings because we find the arts to be a wonderful way to connect, and find common interests with their chronically ill sibling.

C.H.O.I.R. Stars also provides multiple free family outings a year. These outings are offered for all ages, and are meant to inspire and encourage family unity. Recent outings have included our families going to see the touring company of Wicked. We had a talk back with the cast after the show, complete with autographs and pictures. Our families also had the opportunity to take in a performance by Ko-Thi Dance Company at Ravinia in Highland Park, IL.
